The other day, I was at the Gallery giving a demo on pastel painting. As I have been painting little chickens in oils for a while, I thought doing a few pastel chickens would be fun. Here are the little guys I painted.
Six more chickens made their way to Argyle Fine Art a few days ago. Painted on 5 inch birch panels, these little guys look great on a wall or a shelf! Here we have Peabody, Roland, Lilly, Cooper, Mr Sulu (Redford was missing in action at the time of the photo shoot!). Drop by Argyle on Barrington Street in Halifax and take a look.
A few of my original chickens are now on display (and for sale) at Woodlawn Medical Clinic in Dartmouth.
A dozen little crows ready for the show. Preshrunk 2017 starts in a few days down at Argyle Fine Art . There are over 300 mini pieces to see. It's always a great (and busy) show. Reception is Friday evening Jan 20th. Hope to see you there :) See entire Show online here
