St. Peter's Anglican Church is holding a a Craft Fair on Saturday, November 27. Sharon will have a table you can stop by and visit and will also be giving a live pastel painting demo. Stop by to meet Sharon, pick up a hand-made Christmas card, or to sign up for classes.

In September I will be teaching a 6-week pastel painting course at Prospect Community Centre. Each class will be 2 hours long (dates and times to be announced) I will be teaching a variety of soft pastel techniques like broken colour, layering, scumbling and blending. We will be working on everything from still life, landscape, flowers to figure painting. Contact me or Prospect Community Centre for more information. Come join us!

My show opens on Saturday! I have finished all the matting and framing, and everything looks ready to go. I'll be hanging the show on Friday morning, I do hope I haven't forgotten anything.

The winter session is over, but not forgotten! My students were the most hard-working group...ever. I really pushed the class out of their comfort zone, but they rose to the occasion, and produced some amazing work. I think the greatest compliment an instructor can get is when a student wants to sign up for the next session :)
