Pastel workshop for beginners
Join me for the day and learn how to work with this wonderful and versatile medium. This workshop is suitable for beginners and requires no drawing ability. All art materials included for use during workshop! (I also have a small number of pastels for purchase)

Classes: Prospect Community Centre (September 2014)
In September I will be teaching a 6-week pastel painting course at Prospect Community Centre. Each class will be 2 hours long (dates and times to be announced) I will be teaching a variety of soft pastel techniques like broken colour, layering, scumbling and blending. Out and About with My Sketch Book
I took a trip to the city this week. While I waited for my husband, I did some quick pen and watercolour sketches. I felt a little conspicuous at first, but nobody really noticed me in the corner. I really need to get quicker at capturing people. I started many sketches that were never completed as the people walked away long before I was done. I have made a promise to myself to do some quick gesture drawings everyday in an attempt to get faster.
